George was a lover of the outdoors and could often be found fishing, golfing, or camping when he was not at his job at APAC which he held for 37 years. Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of being in George’s company can tell you that he had an infectious personality that drew people to him. He could always be counted on for a great story and an even better laugh that left you warm inside. To be in his presence was a true gift and no amount of time with him would have ever been enough.
George is survived by: daughters, Amanda Johnston (Carl), Kendra Hyman (Michael) and son, George Embrey Jr as well as grandchildren, Justin, Collin, Easton, Alexis, and Colton. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Barnabas, and partner Samantha and her children, as well as his sisters, nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues too many to name.
