this girl was a human dynamo  she was loved by all and made people feel loved.

Gayle, 
The world lost one of its best and brightest when God called you home.  It doesn’t seem possible that our beautiful Aunt Gayle isn’t going to be there to share pizza with us when we are in Wichita, give us the best haircuts, spoil our kids rotten, have fun together at the farm,  and so many more cherished memories with the ‘ coolest aunt’ that would overflow a memory book. You were selfless with your time and talents and loved by so many that the legacy and heart prints you have left on all of us are immeasurable.  Know that you are, and will be deeply missed until we see you again.  Give our love to those in heaven and we Love you!!

You will always be special to us.  We met over forty years ago through your cousin, Mike Wilson,  my husband. We fondly remember all the good times we have shared with you. We love you and look forward to that time we meet again.
You made me look and feel better when you did my hair.

I met Gayle through Keith and Dorothy Wilson, my long-time friends and neighbors.  The first time we met we seemed to hit it off as friends and we kept in contact over the last 25 years. Whenever Gayle would come down to see her relatives we would all get together.  There was never a dull moment when Gayle was around and if Larry was here, there was double trouble.   Larry and Gayle had such an unbreakable bond as brother and sister, she worshiped her big brother and he adored her. .Gayle had such a bubbly personality you couldn’t help but just love her, she would do anything for anyone. I think Gayle helped someone every single day in one way or another. I am going to miss our long talks, she was a very good listener and very compassionate person. I miss you and I love you Gayle Ann. Please give Shorty and Dorothy  a big hug for me and tell them I love them.  Until we meet again, Cozy Smith

My mother became a client of Gayle's in the early 1970's and in turn many other family members became clients of hers for several years after.  I remained a client of hers for over 40 years and am very grateful to had the opportunity to know her.   She was a genuine person and truly cared for all of her clients, I enjoyed laughing with her over conversations that we had.  I will miss her dearly, but I know that she is an angel in heaven looking down over everyone whose life she touched.

Dear Gayle I wanted to know the enormous loss we feel losing the person who was always keeping the family together and setting up times to meet.  You were my little sister who we started out together with the loss of our mother and then as our family grew we were always family.  I have to laugh when i think of the times I was telling you something and you would laugh and say "whatever".
Thanks for always reaching out to the aunts and uncles in Sycamore and Neodesha, Independence.  Our boys and children will miss you also.  You will always be Aunt Bag.  We will help with Mark anyway we can to be sure he is taken care of with Dara and Kyle being the main contact. We love you and as always MTXE . Tell all hello in Heaven. I am sure they were waiting for you to get there.  Dont boss the hair salon folks around.  I love you and was glad to be with you at the end as you requested per your request you were not alone. As a client of Gayle,s haircutting service, I received such a blessing from her in so many ways...both spiritual and social.  I would go in with sorrow or angst and she would understand and make me feel everything would be okay.  I will certainly miss her and know many of my friends who were her customers are also missing her.  Her family needs to know what a blessing she was to all of us.
