Fred E. Newman Jr. passed away on August 4, 2023. Fred contributed to the education of thousands of Truesdale students in his 37.5 years of teaching.
Fred was preceded in death by: his parents, Fred and Mary Newman of Wichita, KS; sisters, Betty Cheatham of Albuquerque, NM and Mary (Richard) Smoll of Wichita, KS; and niece, Joanne Fisher of Wichita, KS.
Fred is survived by: his niece, Susan Ernst of Wichita, KS; nephews: David Smoll of Peoria, AZ and Martin (Linda) Smoll of Wichita, KS; and great nieces and nephews: Julie (Banning) Hamlett, James (Ashley) Fisher, Jill Fisher, Jeremy (Bridget) Smoll, Carl (Ashley) Ernst, Michael Smoll, Daniel Smoll, and Steven Smoll.
