Florence Dolly Andrews

Andrews, Florence "Dolly", 91, passed away August 16, 2016. Dolly was born to Oliver and Flora McMichael in Chrisfield, Kansas on her family farm. She later moved to Attica, Kansas before establishing her long time residency in Wichita, Kansas. She loved to play her harmonica, enjoyed bowling, and was a member of Riverlawn Christian Church, the Young At Heart Senior Group, and Women’s Fellowship Group. Dolly was a former Cessna Employee, but spent most of her life expertly caring for her family and home. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 45 years, Clifford Andrews, sisters, Olive McMichael and Velta Maninger, brothers, Melvin McMichael and Veryl McMichael. She is survived by daughters, Karen (Roy) Buchanan of Wichita, KS, Rita (Eugene) Hein of Newton, KS; and grandchildren, James and Holly Buchanan of Wichita, KS. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thurs. August 18, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary and funeral Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Fri. August 19, 2016 at Riverlawn Christian Church 4343 N. Meridian Ave. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Riverlawn Christian Church or Serenity Hospice Care 9340 E. Central Ave. Wichita, Kansas 67206.
