Garrison, Erma Grace (Smith), went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 14, 2014. Erma was born September 17, 1919 in the town of Rozel, Kansas. Her parents were Golden Shuck Smith and Clara Evalyn (Norman) Smith. She was united in marriage with M.L. (Gary) Garrison on December 22, 1940. Erma was a faithful follower of Christ, teaching pre-school children for many years at First Baptist Church and Metropolitan Baptist Church, both in Wichita, and was a talented artist, seamstress, gardener and musician. She loved playing the piano and spending time with her family. She will truly be missed. Preceded in death by her parents; husband Gary; brother Chester; sisters: Lillian Wells, Rosalie Hull, Nell Brownewell; grandson Randy Vasquez; son-in-law Dave Herring. Survived by sister Eula McIntosh; daughters: Barbara Garrison Herring, Gloria (Dave) Hamil, Nancy (Ron) Christie, all of Wichita; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:00 on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army at 350 N Market St
