Donna graduated from South High School in the Class of 1969. She worked at Beech Aircraft for 30+ years in which she later retired from.
She was actively involved in with Andover August rail trail initiative and Prairie Travelers (BIKING WAS ONE OF HER PASSIONS) and the Church.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Bryce Duane Swafford and Ora Deen Swafford (Crow).
She is survived by her children: Daniel Dean Carrell (Angela) and Deenita Rena Chapman, partner: Rick Sroufe, sisters: Yvonne Schneider (Children and Grandchildren), Karen Suppes (Children and Grandchildren). Grand Children: Vironnaca Carrel, Savannah Fay Carrell, Danielle Kristen Carrell, Courtney Renae Chapman, John Lee Chapman, II (Jessica), Tyler Carrell, Kaitlyn Roush , Kyle Vada, Amy Osborne, Leigh Ann Sharpsteen, Jerrod Sroufe.
Great Grandchildren: Wranglor Coy Freres, Aidan Lamont Carrell, Jaylinn Buffalohead, Katelinn Buffalohead, Jeremy Bladimir Ayala, John Lee Chapman, III (Trip),Kiera Barnes, Carter Sroufe, Gage Kennedy, Tucker Heasty, Kaleb Hines and Carson Sroufe.
Great Great Grand Children: Payson Barnes, Lane Barnes, Railey Barnes and Charlie Barnes
A graveside service for Donna will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Get together for visitation and finger foods that will take place at Sedgwick County Park Pavilion located at 21st Street Entrance (the Old Bait Shop) on Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 .
