1st time I met Danny was in 1979.  Fast moving forklift and a head of long Brown hair.  He almost hit me and Cute or not I chewed his butt out! Ever since then we'd been friends. No matter what Danny was there and a good friend. Through the years no contact but in 2016 I saw him at Taco Shop and we laughed and talked. Today Easter 2022 I learnt of his passing. He loved his mom Hope.  His children, grandchildren. But most of all Alabama!!!.  Sherri, Sandy and all.. my heart❤ felt Condolences!!

Danny was a pallbearer for my Mother, my Father and  my older Brother when they passed. I will forever remember that now, after being reminded. I never thanked him for that so Thank You Danny for being there for my family. We all will be in Danny's shoes one day. Lets pray that we are loved like the love he showed to my family back then. Good bye my friend, until we meet again.  Have a great journey.     John G.

This was Danny’s best bud, he loved him so much. Danny named him Gabriel von Wolfgang, we just called him Goober

To all of you who are my family by choice, not birth.
I will never forget you all...the years of enjoying the close friendship of Hope and Earl, such wonderful people, and spending time at their warm and always inviting home.
I’ll cherish the memories of Marvin and I growing up with all your family close by.
We are all much more than friends and neighbors.

I grew up around my papa I was over at there house all the time I was doing things with my papa 24/7 . I just wanted to share that he was my best friend , we would have long talks on the phone about boys and high school drama and I asked him to not tell no one about that and he promised me that he would never and he kept that promise like he kept every promise . every time I walked into the door to see him would  he hey Libby want a Pepsi and some candy and I would  tell him absolutely and we would sit there and talk about the up coming Alabama games .i love my papa so much and will always fly high my angel 🕊❤️

I love you dad, I wish I would of been there more for you at the end! You taught me to hold the fort down and take care of my woman and children and that is what I have been trying to accomplish so badly in these last years. I hope I did enough to make you a proud father! I will miss you dearly and I am so sorry I wasn’t there more in your last days! I promise I will continue to do things in a manner to in which you would be proud and you and g ma and papa can sit back and look and smile as you look down upon us! I love you old man. I really am so very sorry that you are gone and just know that me and you are good!  Beyond good!                            P.S. do me a favor pops and tell ol Derrick Thomas that I said hey and on Monday night let it be known from heaven…. ROLL DAM TIDE!!! You will be missed sir!

Danny was a VERY good friend with a huge heart.  We have talked several times a week for years. He always asked about others and how they were doing…not so concerned about himself.  We loved Danny and he will be greatly missed. RIP my good friend. 😢
