Morgan, Jr., Coy Leslie, 97, retired Townley Metal and Hardware salesman and co-owner of Haysville Hardware and Lumber Co., passed away Friday, November 21, 2014. He was born in Gate, Oklahoma, and proudly served aboard the USS Idaho in WWII. Coy was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his parents Coy and Violet Morgan, brothers Dr. Nova Morgan and Duane Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; daughter, Terri (Lin) Harris; son, Billy Bob (Linda) Teter; sister, Eloyse Frazee; grandchildren, Lindsay (Clint) Hamblin, Andrea (John) Gruber, Christina (Kirby) Vernon, Craig (Kristi) Teter, Cindy (Tim) Konecny and 8 great-grandchildren. Family visitation will be Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas, with graveside service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the Honor Flight of Kansas and the Plane of Mercy.
