Cherrill "Cherrie" L. Wilkie

Wilkie, Cherrill "Cherrie" L., 83, of Arvada, CO passed away peacefully on Tues. May 8, 2018 in Arvada, CO. Cherrie was born on Sept. 27, 1934 in Wichita. Cherrie attended college in Dodge City, KS and later received her nursing degree at St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita. She later graduated from Wichita State University with an Education Degree and a masters degree in education at University of Northern Colorado. She taught second and third grade for 31 years in Jefferson County, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her mother, Roberta Clements, father, Leslie Wilkie, brother, Barry Clements. Survivors include her loving, brothers, Richard (Linda), Gary (Dottie), Terry (Cindy) Clements, sister-in-law, Katherin Clements, close friend, Sondra Broers and nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 p.m. on Mon. May 21, 2018 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Inurnment will follow at Lakeview Mausoleum, Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Denver Zoo, 2300 Steele St., Denver, CO 80205 or Alzheimer's Association, 1820 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67214.
