Smoker, Carolyn I., 72, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Monday July 23, 2018 at her home in Wichita. Carolyn was born the daughter of Kenneth and Rhoda Smoker on November 9, 1945 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Carolyn and Junior were united in marriage on June 8, 2001 in Wichita, Kansas. Carolyn was a member of the Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church in Wichita. After high school she devoted herself to becoming a registered nurse. As a hobby she created many art forms. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Rusty Smoker. Survivors include her loving husband, Junior Spilker, son, Greg (Lisa) Turner and their children, Cody, Collin, Conner, daughter, Heidi (Kenneth) Larson and their children, Kristian and Tyler and 5 siblings. Celebration of life services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church, 655 S. Lorraine Avenue, Wichita, Kansas 67211. Entombment was held at Lakeview Mausoleum, Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, c/o Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church.
