Bonnie Jean Wedan

86, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, March 29, 2018. She was born in Chanute, KS to Joe and Nettie Thurman on January 3, 1932. She was a member of the Chanute Drum & Bugle Corp., and worked many years as a sales clerk at Better Book Room. Bonnie is survived by husband of 67 years, Dick Wedan; sons, Dale (Jill), Joe (Julie) and Doug (Michele) Wedan; sister, Wilma (Fred) Davis; grandchildren, Jamie, Ashley, Matt, Randi, Nate and Tim; and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 with visitation one hour prior at Grace Connections Church- Valley Center. Memorials may be made to Grace Connections Church or the Union Rescue Mission c/o Grace Connections.
