Pinkstaff, Robert “Bob” D., 81, loving husband, passed away July 23, 2015. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m Wed. July 29th 2015 at Resthaven Cemetery in the Garden of Freedom. Bob was a Kansas Korean War Veteran and retired Gunnery Sergeant in the USMC serving for 32 years. After his service, he began his civilian career at Boeing as an engineer retiring after 40 years. He was active in Veteran’s Associations, a yearly participant in Toys for Tots, and he enjoyed spending his time working with the horses at C Arrow Stables. He is preceded by his parents and a sister, and survived by wife of 32 years: Myrna; son: Tim (Elizabeth) Burke; nieces, Linda (Jody) Griebel and Lisa (Steve) Du Bray; grandchildren: Heather (Shawn), Amber (Jose), and Molly Burke; and great-grandchildren: Ammeriah, Shelby, Sydney, and Diane. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wichita Toy Run P.O. Box 537 Derby, Kansas 67037.
