Barbara A. Hagins

She was born September 13, 1936, to Gerald and Pauline Miller. She was the 4th of 6 children, 3 older siblings: Pat, Jerry and John and 2 younger sisters: Helen and Almeda.

Barbara met the love of her life while working at the Broadview Hotel. He was an exterminator and followed her home. For Floyd it was love at first sight.

Barb loved gardening, cooking and hosting family gatherings. She spent many hours in a van traveling across the US, attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's functions and playing the penny slots at various casinos.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Gerald and Pauline Miller; daughters, Sheila Schwartz and Cheryl Stegman; sons-in-law: Bill Miller, Steve Schwartz and Mike Stegman; brother, Jerry Miller; sisters: Patsy Roth, Helen Scherer and Almeda Miller.

Barb is survived by: her husband of 57 wonderful years, Floyd Hagins; children: Terry Miller, Eddie (Chris) Engle; grandchildren: Kimberly Crouch, Amanda Henton, Bryan Engle, Justin Engle, Heather Engle, Courtney Barksdale, Troy Schwartz, Chris Stegman and Ben Stegman; 18 great-grandchildren, her brother, John Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation, with family present, will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. and burial following in the Garden of Gethsemane, all at Resthaven Mortuary and Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, KS 67209
