Alice M. Riordan

Alice M. Riordan, 95, born April 10, 1923 in Eudora, KS died February 12, 2019. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francis J. Riordan. Survived by son, Michael (Kathy) Riordan and daughter, Kay (Bert) Wiggins, both of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Erica (Ryan) Snyder, Las Vegas, NV, Zachery (Kelly) Wiggins, Wichita, Benjamin Wiggins, Wichita; step-grandchildren, Brett (Jaime) Laudermilk, Wichta, Jennifer (Matt) Cline, Wichita; great-grandchildren, Harper and Tucker Snyder and step-great-grandchildren, Nathan and Ivan Laudermilk. Visitation will be 5-7 pm with Rosary starting at 7 pm, February 15, 2019 at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral Mass is 10 am, February 16, 2019 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. After attending college in Oklahoma, Alice taught elementary and high school in Wichita and surrounding area until her retirement. She soon joined her husband helping in his business, R & A Enterprises. They shared a love of bridge and golf and enjoyed playing both together. Alice loved her family, friends and church. In her later years, she kept busy helping her friends and being involved at her daughter’s jewelry store. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to know her and serves as an example of a life well lived.
