Alexis "Lexy" Beth Hymer

Alexis, better known as Lexy, was born in Wichita, Kansas on August 15th, 1999, to Chris and Kara Hymer. She was the second oldest of five siblings whom she loved dearly.

Lexy was the type of person everyone deserves to have in their life. She was so loving, wild, and free spirited. She was so beautiful inside and out. Her smile and laugh were so contagious, it could make anyone feel so warm inside and light up any room she walked into. She cared so deeply for everyone, and she would do anything to help anyone in a time of need. Lexy had so many talents, it was like she could do anything and everything. She had a deep passion for music, she loved to do anything if music was involved, especially driving that truck of hers. She would love to drive out to the lake or just go cruising in the country, jamming out to her music. It brought her so much peace. She loved to sing, growing up she was our little superstar. Her dog, Blizzy, also brought her much peace. Those two were so silly together. She was also very creative and artistic. She loved her tattoos very much and she always was planning her next tattoo idea.

Lexy is loved deeply by her friends and family. She will be missed greatly.

Lexy was preceded in death by her sister; Camila Pando-Hymer, step-grandpa, Raymond Sanchez, and by her grandpa Byron Gibson.

She is survived by her grandma Lora Beth Sanchez, grandma Hermoine Hymer, grandpa Rick Hymer, father Christopher Hymer Sr., her mother Kara Hymer, her four siblings, Samantha Hymer, Christopher Hymer Jr., Jayden Hymer and Vicente Pando-Hymer, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation and Viewing for Lexy will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Wichita, 4408 West Central, Wichita, KS 67212.

Graveside Service will occur Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, E. 1st Street, Newton, KS 67114 with the Reverend Donna Voteau officiating.
