Albert D. Stoneking

Stoneking, Albert D., 84, of Wichita, KS passed away peacefully on Fri. Sept. 26, 2014 at Via Christi St. Joe in Wichita. Albert was born on Aug. 6, 1930 in Belva, OK the son of Seth and Clara Stoneking. Albert and Jo Ann Stoneking were united in marriage on April 12, 1952 in Newton, KS. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage. Albert retired after 42 years from Cessna Aircraft as a Upholstery supervisor. Albert served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957. He was longtime member of the East Minister Presbyterian in Wichita. He was a member of the Foresters Club. Albert enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters. Survivors include his loving wife, Jo Ann Stoneking, sons, Ken Stoneking, Keith (Joy) Stoneking, Karl (Barbara) Stoneking, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 3 granddaughters and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tues. Sept. 30, 2014 from 10am to 11am. Funeral services for Albert will be at 11am on Tues. Sept. 30, 2014 both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N. Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. Memorials have been established in his name and loving memory with the College of The Ozarks, P.O. Box 17, Point Lookout, MO 65726.
