Alan Edward Nichols, 62, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. He was born January 22, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Marion Edward and Meredith Viola Nichols.
Alan was an active member and Journeyman Service Technician of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union - Local 441 for 30 years. During his free time, Alan enjoyed hunting and fishing, teaching others about the great outdoors, and was always excited to share his experiences through stories and pictures. A part of the Echowood Gang here at home, he was also a Big Game Hunter around the world. Alan was a true friend to so many and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Marion and Meredith Nichols.
He is survived by: his son, Patrick (Carla) Reyes; his sister, Brenda Peterson; his nephew and niece Daniel and Robin Petersen; along with many other family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
