Maxine Marie Lott (Brown), 75, of Wichita Falls, passed away Tuesday February 22, 2022 in Wichita Falls. She was born in Leesville, LA. June 12, 1946 to the late Rebecca Brown Robinson and late Jerry Brown. She was the oldest of 10 children and graduated from Leesville High School. She accepted Christ at an early age and loved singing in the choir. She also enjoyed cooking for church events which included Meals on Wheels, Sunrise Service Breakfast and cooking and baking for her family.
She met the love of her life, Lonnie J. Lott. They married October 3, 1963, while Lonnie was stationed at FT. Polk, LA. They were blessed with three children, Jeffery J. Lott, Lovetta M. (Lott) Ritchie and Malcolm B. Lott. She was a devoted wife for 59 years until she was called home to glory. Maxine was an active and devoted member of Shiloh Baptist Church since 1985. Serving in the youth department, choir and Women’s Missionary Union.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Linda Robinson and Clara Robinson Mills and two brothers, Roy Milton Robinson and Clement Robinson, Sr. She leaves to cherish and honor her memory her dedicated and beloved husband Lonnie J. Lott, children: Jeffery (Shevellanie) Lott of Virginia Beach, VA., Lovetta (David) Ritchie of Chesapeake, VA., and Malcolm (Ebony) Lott, Sr. of Hampton, VA., eight grandchildren: Reginald (Intrica) Ritchie, US Navy of St. Mary’s GA, Jacqueline Ritchie-Wallace of Norfolk, VA., Gabrielle (Marcus) Ritchie-Williams of Hampton, VA., Jasmine C. Lott of Raleigh, NC., Leah Lott of Columbia, SC., Malcolm Edward Lamar Lott of Chesapeake, VA., Malcolm Lott, Jr. of Hampton, VA., and Donovan W. Lott, US Navy of Japan, five great-grandchildren: Jordyn Stith, Zaiyanna Ritchie, Harmony Dixon, Braxton Wallace and Hazel Williams, sister-in-law Eura (Johnny) Cleveland of Houghton, LA., brothers Levander (Ella) Robinson of Killeen, TX., Jerry Robinson of Leesville, LA., Jenice (Mike) Barnette of Leesville, LA., Frieda (Willie) Wooley of Columbus, GA., and Bunny (Billy) Robinson Walker of New Llano, LA., and a host of relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
