

Mark graduated from Petrolia High School in 1984 and joined the Navy in 1985 serving his country for 9 years. While in the Navy, he learned to run a crane and worked for various crane companies during his 35 year professional career. While in the Navy, Mark also met the love of his life and then united in marriage with Amy Freeman on June 1,1996.
Mark loved playing a competitive game of canasta with his family, he loved all genres of music with a playlist that would make any DJ jealous. He loved being in his happy place at Possum Kingdom Lake either fishing, floating with a corona in hand, or just spending time with his family.
What Mark loved most was his family, and he loved big.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother and father Edith and Joe Bob Freeman. He is survived by his wife Amy Freeman, his son Robbie Freeman, his grandson Grayson Freeman, his daughter and son-in-law Rhiannon and Gustavo Olivarez, his brothers Michael Freeman, Ron Carr, Gary McMahan, his sister Lori McMahan, and many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
A visitation for Mark will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas.
