Krista Marie Hodges

Krista Marie Hodges, 11, went home to be with Jesus Sunday, July 10, 2011. Services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church officiated by Deacon Anastasio Perez. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Krista was born October 19, 1999 in Ardmore, OK to William V. and Christi Perez Hodges. She has lived in Wichita Falls since March, 2006 moving here from Dallas. She was in 4th grade at Cunningham Elementary School. Krista loved Barney and Dora. She was a happy girl who was always smiling.

Krista is preceded in death by her grandfather, Victor Perez, Sr.; and great-grandfathers, Reymundo Perez and William Teas.

Survivors include her devoted mother, Christi Hodges of Wichita Falls; loving father, Willie Hodges of Cityview; brothers, William Hodges, and Brock Hodges; grandparents, Lisa and Jesus Prieto, Neta Hodges all of Wichita Falls, Brent Hodges of Houston; great-grandmothers, Matilde Perez of Wichita Falls, Annie Faye Teas of Ardmore, OK; three uncles; and four aunts.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
