Janet Word

Born January 21, 1952, Janet Kathleen Conley, was the daughter of Joe and Belle Conley and grew up in Perry, FL. She attended high school in Baldwin Florida at Baldwin High School. Kathy as she was known to everyone was married to her longtime love and king of hearts Harold Word for over 44 years until his passing in March of 2014. Kathy is survived by two adult children and their spouses, Harold J. Word “Joey” (Cheryl Houston-Word), Christina Marsh (Jason Marsh) and Five Grandchildren Justin Marsh, Jordan Houston, Jared Marsh, Sarah Word and Peyton Marsh, as well as her sister Sharlene Sanford, and brother Robert Conley. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold D. Word, father Joe Conley, mother Belle Conley, and brothers John Conley and Jody Conley.

Kathy was a faithful member of the Wichita Falls Church of Christ and christian since the age of 16. She was a great mother and grandmother who loved her family and grandchildren. She loved the Lord, her family, fishing, bowling, and being outdoors.

Her services will be held at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home on March 5, 2023. Viewing at 1:00 and services at 2:00. No graveside service as she will then be cremated and rest with her husband.
