Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 6 – 8 PM, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home and services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Glen was born in Wichita Falls to Ira Wilburn and Ruby Louise Finger McShan on May 23, 1945. He retired from PPG after 30 years of employment. He was in the United States Army serving his country in the Vietnam War. Glen was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ira McShan, Jr.
Glen loved restoring antique cars, riding motorcycles, and tinkering in his shop. He enjoyed spending time at car shows and swap meets with his buddies and playing at the lake with his family. Glen was blessed with a large family to whom he was very devoted. He was a gentle, patient, kind, and loving man.
Glen is survived by his wife of 41 years, Liz; sister: Sandy McShan and husband, Butler League of Pollock Pines, California; daughter: Bobbi Moran and husband Joe of Austin, daughter Meghan Elizabeth Hicklin and husband Darren of Benton, Arkansas, daughter Kristen Jane Spangler and husband Chris of Hahira, Georgia, daughter Meryl Dorothy Garrett and husband Brandon of Bryant, Arkansas; grandchildren: Addison, Braiden, Lizzie, Sara, Katie, Benjamin, Quinton, Mady, Mack, and Greyson Glen.
Glen fought Parkinson’s disease for the last years of his life. The family would like to express our greatest thanks to Hospice of Wichita Falls and the staff of the Bluebonnet Suite at House of Hope. Also, we are thankful for his close friends who stuck by his side until the end of his suffering: Gene and Blenda Britt, Glenn Cobb, and Phyllis McShan.
