Ethel Marie Raley

Ethel Marie (Kelsey) Raley known by all as "grandma", 84, passed away on June 4, 2016 at Hospice of Wichita Falls. She was the widow of Bill Raley, they shared 41 years together. Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, June 6, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10am Tuesday, June 7, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

She was born February 15, 1932, in Wichita Falls, TX., retired from Ebner Brothers and Bethania Hospital. She enjoyed going to Jamborees and listening to her nephew sing, working in her yard, picking pecans for her pecan pies, and spending time on the back porch, visiting with her neighbors. She'll be remembered for her feisty attitude and her love for sharing a Dr. Pepper.

Preceded in death by husband, Bill Raley; father, Joe Kelsey; mother, Lou Kelsey; brothers and sisters Rosie Holder, Faye Kennedy, Walter Kelsey, Bertie Veith, JC Kelsey, Jack Kelsey, Bobby Kelsey; daughter Ann Hamilton, daughter-in-law Sherry Raley; grandson Shawn Garcia; great-grandson Casey Garza, and great-great-granddaughter Adelynn Gray.

Survivors include; sister Mildred Chandler, son Larry Raley; and six grandchildren, Misty Raley, Lori Raley, Billie Wesley and husband Tyrone, Shannon Garza and husband Mike, Patrick Hamilton, Lindsay McBride and husband Chad; and seven great-grandchildren, Wesley, Chelsey, Addison, Alexus, Gabrielle, Donovan, Olivia, and great-great grandson Jaedyn. She was also cherished by great niece Michelle Kelsey and many other nieces and nephews.
