Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the chapel of
Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home with Rick Ross of Liberty Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 8:00 Monday evening at the funeral home.
Betty was born on November 3, 1930 in Tarrant County, TX to Otis and Ollie Mae Trout. She was a near lifelong resident of Wichita Falls. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church here in Wichita Falls. Betty was retired from McClurkan’s Department Store.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Cox and a daughter, Sue Ross
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Haley of Bowie, TX; sons, David Starnes of Denton, TX and Lynn Edwards of Wichita Falls; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; brother, Pete Trout of Dean, TX; sister, Imogene Holman of Grand Prairie, TX.
