Solomon's journey took a romantic turn when he met his future wife, Rose, during a visit to Brooklyn, New York. Their love story blossomed quickly, leading to a lifelong partnership that would span over fifty-four years. Together, they built a life filled with lasting memories.
In 1975, Solomon and Rose moved to the small town of Freehold, NJ. In Freehold, Solomon and Rose started their own business Woodshop Kitchen Refinishers where Rose managed the office and Solomon did all the hands-on cabinetry work.
In 1985, Solomon undertook the remarkable task of restoring an old vacated house by hand. His craftsmanship and perseverance transformed it into a warm, welcoming home where they would raise their two children. Sol’s dedication to his family was evident in every nail hammered, symbolizing the foundation he built for the family.
Hard work was a cornerstone of Solomon’s values. He worked tirelessly to ensure his children had the opportunities he cherished, putting them through college.
