Joan was born on October 23, 1942, to David and Anna Fritzinger in Matawan, NJ. She attended Matawan High School.
In 1960, Joan met Norman at a traffic light on Route 34 in Freehold, NJ, and was married six months later. Joan and Norman went on to have three children, Denise, Tim, and Joann.
Joan was predeceased by her husband of 43 years in 2004. She is survived by her three children, nine grandchildren (Kimberly, Lauren, Jake, Anna, Jade, Joy, Sophie, Mason and Landon) and a great-grandson (Asher).
