Thelma Dee Torosian

Thelma Dee Torosian age 93 of Detroit, Michigan passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Thelma was born on September 9, 1931 in Frontenac, Kansas to Raymond and Anna Adamcryk. Thelma and her family left Kansas, moving to Detroit, Michigan. Shortly after moving to Detroit she married her late husband Jack Torosian in 1950. Thelma and Jack were happily married for 37 years; having 5 wonderful boys together. Thelma worked in many positions during her time at Bank of America formally Michigan National Bank in Detroit. Retiring in 1990, Thelma took great pride in her job throughout the years. She kept herself busy volunteering at the Open Door Outreach Center and spending time with her gardening club in Waterford.

Thelma is survived by her sons Mark (Colleen) Torosian, John (Regina) Torosian, Mike (Joanie) Torosian and Joe (Leticia) Torosian; daughter-in- law Kelly Torosian; along with many grandchildren; and great- grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her husband Jack Torosian; son Matt Torosian; sisters Lee and Lucile.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary service at 7:00 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Waterford, Michigan.
