Piper Elizabeth Carrothers

Piper Elizabeth Carrothers, age 13, of Commerce Township, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents: William and Erica Carrothers; her two brothers: Alexander and Evan Carrothers; her sister, Cora Carrothers; her grandmother, Cheryl J. Spicer; her two aunts: Julie VanAmber and Halie Spicer; and her Uncle Joseph Spicer.

Piper was born May 27, 2009, in Ann Arbor. She was an honor roll student in the eighth grade at Clifford H. Smart Middle School in the Walled Lake School District. Piper greatly enjoyed figure skating, and was a devoted member of the Novi Ice Skating Club. Particularly, Piper loved solo ice dancing, and was a competitor at the 2022 National Solo Ice Dance Competition in Velencia, California, in September of 2022. In her free time, Piper could always be found working on one of her crochet projects. She will be greatly missed by so many.

Piper was preceded in death by her grandparents: Terry Leigh Carrothers, and Michael and Sylvia Nowicki.

Piper’s family will receive visitors on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan.
