Patricia Louise Dixon

Patricia L. Dixon, age 84 of White Lake, passed away on June 16, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Gid Dixon, loving mother of Mark (Kim) Dykstra and Sheri (Dennis) Powell; proud grandmother of Kailey, Jake and Natalie Dykstra; Step-mother of Bill (Barbara) Dixon and Cindy (Bill) Bradley; sister of David (Linda) and Richard (Terry) Clawson and the late Shirley Swierenga, Lois Dvorak and Ronald Clawson. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Pat was born in Chicago Illinois on June 10, 1938. She had many fond memories of going on family picnics to Lake Sherwood and River View Park as a child. As a young mother Pat enjoyed spending time with her children. She took them to swim meets and was always very proud when they won. When Pat was spending time with her children and grandchildren she usually had a smile on her face.

Pat retired from Sears in Pontiac Michigan where she worked as an executive Secretary until retiring. She enjoyed Water Aerobics, playing cards and working on crossword puzzles. Pat attended Grace Chapel of Waterford for many years. Pat moved to Independence Village several years ago and enjoyed the new friends she made there.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake, Michigan. Pastor Peter Mannering will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Private interment will be in Ottawa Park Cemetery in Independence Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Chapel in Waterford; 2515 N. Williams Lake Rd., Waterford, MI 48327.
