Mary is survived by her son, Jack Lowell (Carrie) Boldt Jr. of Holly Michigan, Grandson Cody Boldt of Holly Michigan. She also had one sister Oril Ann (Holmes) Perkins of Lewiston Michigan. She had several nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceeded in death by her parents Edward A. & Sarah A. Holmes, loving husband Jack Lowell Boldt, Sr. also her older brother Edward James and sister- in-law Connie Holmes as well as brother-in-law Gary Perkins.
She was also a member of Job's Daughters Bethel #23. Later she and Jack would join and be very active with the Multi Lakes Conservation Association sling-shot team. They loved riding on dune buggy's, snowmobiles and motorcycles. Many 4th of July weekends were enjoyed with family and friends at her parents cottage on Tee Lake outside of Lewiston, Michigan. Mary attended the 2-room school house on Andrews Street in Commerce Village where she spent the majority of her childhood. She graduated from Walled Lake Central, class of 1957. As a child she attended the Commerce United Methodist Church. Later she married Jack on April 25, 1959 in that church just 3 days before Jack left to be stationed in Stuttgart, Germany with the Army.
While Jack was in the Army, Mary was working for the Burrows Corp. in Plymouth, Michigan. In later years she would enjoy a variety of other occupations including working in a real estate office for 15 years. Also she worked as a janitor for the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools. After Jack left the Army, they purchased a home with 7 acres of land on Denby in West Bloomfield. Here is where they could enjoy all the outdoor activities with their son, friends and family. She also enjoyed her fur babies for companionship. After Jack's passing she moved to Tyron Township. She enjoyed the fellowship of her new church, Tyrone Community Presbyterian Church. She participated in the church fanout prayer chain that let her keep in touch with others, before and after pandemic.
In honoring her wishes, Mary will be reunited with her husband Jack at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, 43300 W. 12 Mile Road in Novi at 11:00 am on Friday, June 9, 2023. For those wishing to offer their final respects to Mary, there will be a gathering on Friday morning from 9:30am until 10:30am at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake prior to the burial.
