Kenneth A. Pelto, age 81, of West Bloomfield; passed away on January 7, 2011. Mr. Pelto served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He retired from General Motor as an Illustrator. He was a member of the American Scandinavian Association and the Society of Illustrators. Beloved husband of 55 years to Helen; father of Sharon (Robert) Laisdell, Donna (Larry) Blenc; grandfather of Matthew, Jesse, Rachel, Alex; great-grandfather of Jackson. The Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. The family will be gathering at the funeral home to welcome friends on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home from American Scandinavian Association and The National Wildlife Federation.
