James Alex Zielinski, age 71, of White Lake, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at his home. James was born July 13, 1951, in Detroit, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Loretta (Wieczorek) Zielinski. When he met Dawn on a blind date, it was love at first sight! Jim and Dawn began dating, fell in love, and were eventually married in September of 1993, sharing nearly thirty wonderful years together. Jim had a great passion for music and in his younger years, he was a member of several different bands; he enjoyed the memories he made as a lead guitarist and vocalist, and he even spent time DJ’ing weddings! In his free time, Jim could always be found playing a round of golf, enjoying a glass of wine, or traveling. He particularly loved the trips he took with his wife Dawn to the U.S. Virgin Islands in the Caribbean. He was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, John and Loretta.
