Eric William Rader

Eric William Rader, age 62, of Orchard Lake, died Monday, August 2, 2021, at the Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township. Left to cherish his memory are his significant other, Nancy Warson; his two children: Adam (Nicolette) Rader, and Jordan Rader; his four siblings: James (Susan) Rader, Mary (Carl) Brown, Karen Rader, and Linda (Mark) Hinzmann; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends.

Eric was born June 28, 1959, in Detroit, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Marcus and Frances (Forys) Rader. Eric received his real estate license in 1979, and began his career at Real Estate One shortly after. He worked as a realtor for over forty years. He met his loving girlfriend, Nancy Warson through work, and they shared seventeen wonderful years together. In his free time, Eric loved to play a round of golf with friends, cook on the grill, and spend time outdoors. He also loved to spend time boating and scuba diving on Glen Lake, his “happy place.” He was a wonderful man who will be missed by many.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Frances.

In accordance with Eric’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 12:30 pm, at the White Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan 48386. Eric’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:30 pm.
