Carolyn F. Sugden, age 92, of Commerce Township, was born July 5, 1931 in Highland Park, and passed away January 22, 2024 in Commerce Township. Loving mother of Dawn (Donald) Duesler, David J. (Vickie) Sugden, and Donald C. (Debbie) Sugden. Proud grandmother of Steven (Rene Schmitt) Duesler, Laura (Paul) Wagenmaker, Jason (Jeanne Sassak) Sugden, Kelie (Justin) Pizzino, and Mandee (Ian) McAdams. Treasured great-grandmother of many. Carolyn will be missed by her angel caregiver, Catherine Zezula; many nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members and friends. Carolyn was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 70 years, Donald A. Sugden; her grandchildren, Phil Asheer and Derek Sugden; her parents, Elmer and Myrtle Buck; and her brothers, Gene Buck and Harold Buck.
Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Open Arms Hospice.
