William (Bill) was born October 9,1942 in Ohio to Donald and Elsie Hoffman. He married Judith Ann Blankenship and together they had two sons Mike and David. William joined the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He was a career man and retired from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer.
William is survived by his two sons David and Mike Hoffman, two sisters Marti Hammock and Jean Pearce, as well as grandchildren Preston Weippert and Henry Mundt.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judith and his parents Donald and Elsie.
