Rosalie Darlene Montoya

May 26th, 1939 – January 10th, 2024. Rosalie (Darlene) Montoya passed away peacefully at 6 pm surrounded by her loved ones. Rosalie was the daughter of Ursula Choury and Bonifacio Trujillo. She was raised in San Luis, CO. A graduate from West High School in 1957. She was united in marriage on November 2nd, 1990, to Maurice Montoya. Rosalie retired from a 30-year career with the state as a clerk of the Denver Motor Vehicle. Survivors include her beloved husband of 33 years Maurice Montoya, her children Carol Romero and Kenneth Romero, her brother Sam Medina, her grandchildren Nicole Herrera, Rachel Landeros, and her great-grandchildren, Carter Nelson, Eric Nelson, and Amorie Cardoza. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ursula Choury and Bonifacio Trujillo, her siblings, Clifford Choury, Art Choury, Bobby Choury, Sophie Chambers, her son George Romero Jr, and her granddaughter Jessica Romero.
