A visitation for Richard will be held Friday, January 18, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Praise Center Church, 3105 W. Florida Avenue, Denver, Colorado, followed by a "Celebration of Life Service" at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Jessie Rodriguez; children, Roxanna Rodriguez and Bobbie Jo (Joe) Lucero; his father, Tony (Florence) Rodriguez, Sr.; siblings, Veronica (Nick) Fernandez, William (Francine) Rodriguez, Tomas (Dorothy) Rodriguez, Tony (Juanita) Rodriguez, Jr., Teresa (Jack) Mosman, and Randy Rodriguez; grandchildren, Richard (Jessica) Lucero, Adriana (Brendon) Romero, Candace Lucero, Anthony Barela, Jr., Shaelynn Lucero, and Alexandra Barela; great grandchildren, Ava Romero, Olivia Pacheco, Jeremiah Amaya, and Luciano Barela. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Cervantes.
