Paul Godsman Doolittle

Paul Godsman Doolittle passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2022, at the young age of 45, in the comfort of the beautiful Colorado foothills. He was born May 12, 1977 in Englewood, Colorado to (Frances) Charlotte Godsman. Paul was adopted by James Donald Doolittle, shortly after Charlotte and Jim married.

Paul was raised and spent a lot of his life in Littleton, Colorado. While he never graduated from high school, he did receive his GED. Thereafter, he became a talented craftsman and welder. Paul’s biggest love was music. He was a talented, self-taught musician, passionate guitar player and amazing songwriter with a soulful, raspy voice - reminiscent of the 90’s grunge style music he favored. One of the happiest times in his life was as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for a 90’s grunge style/hard-rock band, Midnight Roulette, from 2010 to 2014.

Paul was always larger than life. He was a fearless, free-spirited brand with a wicked and awesome sense of humor. His laugh will forever resonate loudly through those who loved him, simply at the memory of sharing a joke with him.

Paul is survived by his two children, Logan (born 2007) and Cohen (born 2019). Paul is also survived by his parents, Jim and Charlotte (from Lakewood, Colorado), two of his (half) siblings: Larry Doolittle (Marion, Iowa) and Katherine Hough (Katy Doolittle) (Evergreen, Colorado). Paul is predeceased by his (half) brother, Patrick Doolittle (deceased 2007).

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask for your support to help Paul’s family with his sudden departure - with funds needed for his modest, mountain memorial, and most importantly, to support his sons, Logan and Cohen.
