Merle Ellis Skeens

Merle was born in Golden, Colorado, the third of 8 children to Albert and Florence Skeens.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Merle leaves his daughter Cheryl (Jack), son Mark (Sondra), four grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his brother Hiram Skeens and sister Betty Hartmann.

He was predeceased by his wife Velda of 53 years and son Merle Jr.

The funeral and burial will be at Olinger mortuary on November 18, 2024 at 10:00 am. There will be visitation before the service from 9:30 am - 10:00 am.
