Linda Robbins passed away just 1 week short of her 83rd birthday at Lighthouse Assisted Living in Littleton, CO on 2/15/22. After surviving a life debilitating stroke nearly 12 years ago, she passed in her sleep peacefully, and is finally at home with the Lord fully healed and restored.
She married Daniel Kendall Robbins 5/16/59 and they remained married until his passing in 1998. She is survived by their only daughter Marie Robbins-Marine, married to Scott Marine and grandchildren Kendall Peterson (married to Edward John Peterson) and Kinsey Marine (married to Parks Weatherford) and great-grandchildren Bishop Edward Peterson and Landry Clare Peterson. She got to meet them all.
Her parents were Verde Clare Beard and Sarah Beatrice (Rankin) Beard. She was preceded in death by brother James Beard, his wife Kay and son Michael; her sister June Harms, her husband Leo and son Phil; brother Alan Beard and his wife Dorothy; brother William Beard and his wife Margaret.
She is survived by in-laws Stanley and Carolyn Robbins, Faye Hefte and nieces and nephews Randy Forest (Drenda), Bret Beard (Lorna), Kirk Beard (Rayna), Richard Beard (Irma), Ray Beard (Paula), Mary Kay Carothers, Pam Harms, Patty Myers (Eric), Colleen Fanning, Robin Fanning, Mark Fanning, Marnie Peterson (Darrin), Danielle Conger (Steve), Kelly Glover (Matt) and a number of grand nephews and nieces who loved her greatly (there are a lot).
She enjoyed her gift of playing the piano by ear, gardening, house renovation, decorating, cats, a good cup of coffee and time with family and friends talking about her best friend Jesus. Her humor and personality continued to shine through, in spite of the effects of the stroke, which we think contributed to her longevity.
1 Peter 5:10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
She was a woman of faith and found her hope in Jesus Christ. She is with Him now.
Her celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 on Thursday 2/24/22 at Waterstone Community Church, 5890 S Alkire St., Littleton, CO 80127 with Larry Renoe presiding. Her final resting place will be beside her husband at Golden Cemetery, the family will gather for a graveside service at 2:00 PM on 2/24.
