Leticia Lopez

Leticia Lopez passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Leticia spent her wonderful years spreading love, joy, sarcasm, and sass to any and all around her. Her favorite pastimes included hosting and attending garage sales, and she could always be found singing and dancing to her favorite music.

Leticia immigrated from Mexico in 1983 with her two kids to Denver, CO. Not knowing how to speak English, she worked hard and never let fear get in her way of accomplishing her goals. A few years later she would have her third child and buy her first home. Little did she know this was the beginning of a large, sprawling family -- something that gave her much joy in life. She was an incredible grandmother to 6 grandchildren, who she loved immensely and would take them all on their first trip to Disney World.

Leticia is reunited with her parents Alberto Lopez Nevares and Maria de Jesus Seinz de Lopez as well as her brother Alberto Lopez whom she all loved so deeply. She is survived by her three children, Lety, Arturo, and Janette and her 6 grandchildren Adrian, Alejandra, Andrea, Emiliana, Sebastian, and Santiago.

A visitation for Leticia will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 29, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Sienna, 4200 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80211. A graveside service will occur Friday, December 29, 2023 from 11 :00 AM to 12:00 PM, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, co 80033.
