She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Joy (Jim) Nash, Delroy (Sharon) Bender, Vickie (Mark) O'Day and Michael (Sue) Bender; a sister, Ruth Rumann, and a brother, Don Walker, as well as many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Joyce lived and worked in Wilmar, MN for many years until she moved to Denver in 1979 where she worked as a cook in day care and had many "creative" projects going. She became a resident assistant manager at Clermont Park in 1997 until her retirement in 2004. She continued living at Clermont Park until her death.
