John Charles Harman, 79, died peacefully in Arvada, Colorado, on December 14, 2024. He was born in Denver, Colorado, on March 7, 1945, to parents Charles H. Harman and Evelyn (Peace) Harman. He grew up in Denver and graduated from George Washington High School.
John married his wife Pam (Hogan) in 1971; they lived in Arvada throughout their 53 years of marriage. John worked in construction for most of his career, and his hobbies included woodworking, fishing, and coaching his children and grandchildren in sports.
John was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Evelyn. He is survived by his wife, Pam; his two children, Justin (Julie) and Kami (Mark); his three grandchildren, Tristin, Peyton (Jared), and Tori; his great-grandchild, Isla; his sister Lorelei; and his many nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be held for John C. Harman on Saturday, December 21st at 1:00pm at the First United Methodist Church of Golden, 1500 Ford Street, Golden, Colorado.
