She was a feisty woman. A devoted wife of 32 years. Both sweet and salty. A ball of fire. Whimsical. She lit up a room. To be around her was thrilling. You never knew what she would say or do! She was deeply loving to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, on whose lives she had a tremendous effect, better and better with each generation.
She had a very challenging start in life, but she grew into an incredible woman.
72 years among us was far too short. She has left so many feeling that there is a hole in their life without her physical presence.
Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jeannie is the last of her generation in her family to pass from this life. She is survived by her beloved husband Randy; her daughters Lisa, Laurey, and Launa; seven grandchildren: Megan, Justina, Christopher, Ethan, Noah, Owen, Randall; and ten great grandchildren: Daniel, Mia, Devon, Deegan, Miley, Dylan, Dominic, Maddie, Liam, and Brinn.
Jeannie passed away at her home with Randy and family at her side on October 9th 2022.
Family gatherings were a centerpiece of her life. Her family will gather on October 17th 2022 at Olinger Crown Hill to celebrate Jeannie’s life and express their gratitude for sharing time on this earth with her. She was the matriarch of their family and one of a kind.
In lieu of Flowers or food, Jeannie asks that donations be made in her name to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. This is the link to the Tribute giving page: Tribute Giving - Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (hsppr.org). Anyone that wishes to donate in her memory will be able to list her name
