87, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado passed away on November 24, 2012. She was born on March 31, 1925 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. She came from a family of seven children to Hazel and George Clary, spending her childhood summers in the Black Hills area. Her life then gravitated to Denver where at South High School she met her high school sweetheart Wendel Ingram, and they were married for over 50 years, spending the most years in Wheat Ridge. Wendel preceded her in death in 1997. Inez, over her lifetime, was a versatile worker, having many jobs such as a women's hair beautician, working in a cookie factory, babysitting/child care, donut shop, credit bureau and insurance agency. Inez was cut out of the pioneer mode, soft with a smile yet tough as nails. Her hobbies were the outdoors, big game hunting and fishing. Legendary were her dinner-time potato salads, jello deserts, and wild game minute steaks. Kids spending the nights in sleeping bags on the Ingram front lawn would be a awakened to a rousing pancake breakfast. In her later years of life Inez developed Dementia, reducing her memory but never her smile. In her last year she was a resident in the Bear Creek Care and Rehabilitation Center in Morrison, a very positive place. Inez ended up being preceded in death by sisters Madeline (Tudy), Desire, Harlan (Tiny), Genevieve, as well as her brother George. Older sister Yvonne still resides in South Denver. Inez is survived in the West Metro Denver area by her three children, Kathy, Kent and Ralph. Her legacy leaves 6 grandchildren, and 11 1/2 great grandchildren. Grandchildren include (Kathy's) Chris, Julie and Laura, and (Kent's) Cameron, Courtney and Lindsey. Great grandchildren include Hunter, Tyler, Brianna, Taylor, Peyton, Olivia, Tristan, McKenzie, Maya, Walker, Gwen, and Sheamus (due April 2013). Contributions may be made in her name to: Colorado Wildlife Federation, 1410 Grant Street, #C-313, Denver, CO 80203.
Service Thursday, November 29th, 9:00am at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary (29th & Wadsworth) with viewing one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 10:30am Area "B".
