It’s been 4 years today since you went to heaven, all of our lives changed that day , and you have been missed terribly. So here’s a toast to you Harold, to a  loving husband, a great Dad, the best grandpa, and a caring brother in law . I know you are up there looking down on us, and watching over us. We love and miss you,

Harold is the husband of my dear friend, Linda.  We were all shocked when his surgery left Linda a widow.   Harold had a quiet, sweet demeanor.  He was such a “calming, leveling” force in Linda’s life.  Harold was a hands on father for his son Bobbie and two grandsons, Kyle and Brandon.  He loved going to their sporting events.  Linda  and I are “tea besties” and check in with each other daily.  She has done well grieving Harold’s passing, but it hasn’t been easy.   Linda has looked to the Lord for strength during these past two years.  She’s also attended a Grief Share program which has helped Linda mourn Harold’s loss. May the Lord continue to guide Linda in the days and months ahead.

I am continuing to have all of you in my prayers.  I have fond memories of my cousin Harold--it was always good to see his smile and see in interest in others.  I wanted all of you to know how much I enjoyed seeing all the photos you shared!!! They were all wonderful.  I wish comfort for all of you and hope you feel the love myself and others are sending your way.

Linda, as you grieve, please know that we are remembering you and honoring our wonderful memories of Harold.  We are praying for you and are always here for you. We will treasure the fun times with Harold at the Spartan Football games and all the gatherings at Bobby and Nicole's house.

Our family is saddened by the loss of Harold.  We lived next door to him a few years back.  The kids have never forgotten his kindness and generousity.  They will always remember being outside with Harold and Milo.  He had such a soft nature yet he was tough because we knew he’d let us know if something was wrong.  We felt like we had a grandpa.  He loved talking about his grandsons and taking care of his old cars.  Once he let Milo out when our grandma was in town and she doesn’t like dogs so she yelled like a crazy and Harold felt so bad but I got a kick out of her being so scared and we giggled about it for months later.   We will miss him and send our love and prayers to Linda and his family!
