Gordon "Bill" William Typher 76, passed away gently on May 15th, 2018 in Denver, Colorado. He was known to most of his family and friends as Bill. Bill was born on July 24th, 1941 to Fred and Hattie Typher in Denver, Colorado. He had four brothers Lawrence, Donald, Kenneth, Robert and one sister, Marilyn Wegener. Bill was a proud member of the United States Army in which he served as a Military Policeman. He served with honor and was discharged in 1969.
Bill loved classical music, the opera, and cars. He especially loved the VW Beetle Bug and owned three of them. Bill was also intrigued with the Mazda Rotary Engine basically because it was installed on its side, and he a owned one those too. He liked foreign cars and didn't bother himself with American made ones.
While in the service stationed in New York he attended many Broadway shows and musicals which he enjoyed. Bill also had a bit of a sweet tooth and loved his hard candies. He took extra special care of his mother Hattie and made sure she had everything she needed and more. Bill also paid attention to all his nephews and nieces and they loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Hattie Typher as well as three of his brothers Lawrence, Donald, and Kenneth Typher.
Bill is survived by his brother Robert "Bob" Typher and his wife, and numerous nephews and nieces. He will be missed everyday.
