Born Carol Ann Glovka to Paul Glovka and Beryl Bennett on March 27, 1940 in Clinton IA. Went to be with the Lord, after a lifelong battle with Multiple Sclerosis, on December 22, 2021 in Westminster CO at age 81 years of age.
Carol was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed raising her four children. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She especially loved it when they were all together. She loved visiting and getting visits from her dear friends, reading scripture, reading a good novel and writing. She loved the Lord Jesus and relied on His strength and grace daily. Carol was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at a young age. Spending many years in a wheelchair, she never backed away from her independence and was stubbornly self-sufficient. Carol faced the loss of her beloved daughter, Lori, to cancer in 1997. She faced many hardships in life, but always placed her reliance, trust and faith in the Lord Jesus.
Carol is survived by her sons Jeff Digby of Golden, Co, James Jr. (wife Jeri) of Simla, Co, Jon of Arvada, Co, her sister Sheryl Glovka of Salt Lake City, Ut, her grandchildren Erin (John) Arndt of Overland Park, Ks, Sean Schlagenhaft (Erica) of Gallatin, Tn, Taylor (Duncan) Cornell of Simla, Co, Kayla Digby of Lakewood, Co, McKenzi (Kendall) Green of Cohagen, Mt, Tanner Digby of Golden, Co, Jaci (Tucker) Cole of Centennial, Wy, Colton Digby of Denver, Co, Cooper Digby of Westminster, Co, and Maia Digby of Golden, Co. Carol is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Lori Lynn Digby, her mother Beryl Bennett and her father Paul Glovka. Also, preceding her in death her brothers Richard Glovka, Lawrence Glovka, and James Glovka. Also her step mother Velma Glovka, and step father Henry Bennett.
