Bonnie Daniels Dietz, 98 passed away Monday morning, April 4, 2022, in Denver Colorado.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Amazing Grace Church 3325 S. Federal St., Englewood, CO 80110. There will be a private internment at Crown Hill Cemetery in the afternoon.
Bonnie was born in St. Joseph, MO to Ewing and Mildred Tate. She lived in and around Jamesport, MO with her husband and daughters until moving to Colorado in 1950.
Bonnie always worked. She cleaned houses, took in sewing and after moving to Colorado, worked in a Bishops Drug Store. She always walked to work, before finally teaching herself how to drive.
She managed the soda fountain at the Rexall Drug store in Southwest Denver when the girls were teenagers. She spent the last forty years of her life owning her own tax preparation business, retiring just three years before her death.
Bonnie is survived by Daughters Barbara Novy Denver, CO and Brenda Carnes Lewisville, TX.
Granddaughters, Michelle (Robert) French Ponder, TX, Teri (Dave) McRedmond, Lewisville, TX, and Traci (Duane) Lindsay, Frederick, CO.
Great-grandchildren Heath (Gabrielle) French Denton, TX, Justin French & fiancé Lacey Madil, OK, Tom Cucina, Lewisville, TX, Step- great-grandchildren Aaron Dop, Sara Skells and Steve Lindsay all of Denver, CO.
Great-great-granddaughters Luna and Emilia French
Sister Faye Robertson Wichita, KS, Mary Stevens Levelland, TX Charles Tate, Anton, TX and, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Bonnie is preceded in death by brother Wayne Tate, sister-in-law Doris Tate and sons-in-law Wayne Novy and Ken Carnes.
