Doucette, Mary Jeannette – 68, of Weymouth North, Digby Co., passed away on April 8, 2010, in Digby General Hospital. Born March 21, 1942 in Carleton, Yarmouth Co., she was the daughter of the late Albert Doucette and Josephine (Thibodeau) Doucette. She is survived by daughters, Janice (Doucette) Mullen, Hassett; Nancy (Doucette) O’Neil, Havelock; sons, Leaman Doucette, Weymouth North; John Doucette, Weymouth North; David Doucette, Gilberts Cove; brother, Cliffton Doucette, Ont.; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, Leaman Doucette and brother, Dennis Doucette. Visitation will be Monday, April 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North. Prayers will be on April 12 at 8 pm. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 13 at 11 am at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Weymouth with Father Keith Billard officiating. Interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Weymouth.
